Family Bike Swap

Everybody needs a bike! The first annual Family Bike Swap is coming to the Valley. Buy a ‘new’ bike in time to take part in the Valley Walk & Roll Festival (May 9-17), or sell one you’ve outgrown to someone who will use it. Lots of kids’ bikes! The sale will be held on Saturday, May 9 from 9-4 at the Waitsfield Elementary School. Bikes should be dropped off on Friday, May 8 from 3-7.

Only bikes in working condition can be included in the sale, so check your bikes now! If in doubt, bring your bikes to any one of our local bike shops – Inverness, Stark Mountain (all in Waitsfield) or Green Mountain Bikes (Rochester) – for a free safety check.

Proceeds to benefit the Mad River Valley Health Center Health Education Committee.
